Computing

 

At CREATE we develop pupils fascination and curiosity by equipping our pupils with skills to develop their computational thinking and creativity to understand the world. The progression of skills throughout school allows pupils to build on prior knowledge and allows, as pupils progress through the curriculum, for them to be able to express themselves in many different media using technology.

We inspire children to think about how their computational skills can be used in the real world. Our pupils will leave CREATE being digitally literate by being able to use and develop their ideas through information and communication technology.

Internet and online safety play an important role within our computing curriculum. We actively engage the children in developing their understanding of how to use the internet safely.

We believe children need to be aware of the world around them and be able to make SMART decisions - Safe, Meeting, Accepting, Reliable and Tell.
